Well, that time has come. The SZ001 will be traded in tomorrow for this;

Having been quizzing people on the nice places to go in Scotland, along with the scenic routes, and the best driving roads, Ullapool appears to be somewhere we have to visit. The route should still include the A68 as it's far too much fun to miss out on, but will now extend further north if planning allows it. Consultation with Woody shall occur, and an updated GoogleMaps route posted. Hopefully there'll be some site updates over Christmas, if the site-update-fairy turns up at all, incidentally - happy christmas everyone, drive safe!

A quick overview of the route as planned so far... Involving the amazing A68, setting off from Pontefract, and the stop off at Inverness or Loch Ness, depending on the cheapity of the hotels in the area. More information when I work it out, and after the website has been played around with hopefully.

Well, the new car should be arriving in a few months time, and with it, a very good excuse to take it out for some testing. Hoping to go up to Scotland for a long weekend and some fun driving roads. Loch Ness seems to make the most sense as a stopping point. The venerable Woody should be along as nagivator and we'll hopefully be testing out some useful gadgets such as Trapster, a plethora of SatNavs, and hopefully some in-car mods. More later!
